Statement of purpose needs to include the intent of the candidate choosing teaching as a career and what they expect to learn from a course of this nature. As a part of selection process candidates will be expected to be available for a virtual meeting as and when required.

A Note on Credits: The National Education Policy (NEP) 2023 is introducing a system of transferable academic credits through the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), allowing students to accumulate, store, and transfer credits earned across recognized institutions. This flexible framework enables learners to take breaks, switch disciplines, or transfer between universities without losing progress. By recognizing diverse forms of learning, including online and vocational courses, it promotes mobility and lifelong learning. The credit system encourages multidisciplinary education, empowers students to chart individualized academic paths, and fosters greater coherence and quality within India's higher education ecosystem. Note that as per UGC rules, academic credits cannot be awarded without an assessment. Hence, students who opt for credits will be required to undertake an online examination. This examination will be conducted by TDU on their platform; assessment will be done by KFI. These students will receive an additional certificate from TDU, and the credits will be uploaded into the National Academic Depository (NAD), once the course content has been approved by the UGC
